As a mum of twins who had flown the nest, and a career spanning almost 25 years in education, I desperately wanted to use my creative flare.  So I took myself to my local flower market, researched, designed and educated myself in the floristry business.  I hoped I could put a little of myself into flower arrangements, and offer something that people might want to buy, and come back for more.  

Flourish was born, took on a life of its very own, and to say its been a labour of love, would be an understatement. 

With countless early starts, late nights, masses of social media posts and endless attempts to build a strong portfolio and reputation, its been the happiest, most tiring time of my life (second only to raising our girls). Flourish brings me a job satisfaction like I have never known, and I believe that comes through in my work.  
My passion for flowers and people seems to gather energy I didn’t know I had, and I am truly grateful to every single customer, and to every single element of support that Flourish has been lucky enough to receive. I have built relationships with local growers and wholesalers, making it possible to source the best stems. Using locally grown and British flowers is massively important to me, and I try to make it my ‘go to’ at every opportunity.

From my wedding couples, to my workshop guests; families who have trusted me to provide farewell flowers, to those just wanting a little something from our flower ‘Honesty Box’; from my family to my friends – I can hand on heart say, every arrangement was made with my love and care.
